2013-2021 | RAWI MAGAZINE | CREATIVE ART DIRECTOR | Cairo, Egypt
Revamped the bilingual English/Arabic print magazine (first published in 2010), creating a strong visual brand identity (typography, layouts) and developing innovative visuals and graphics for each of its individually themed issues.  Responsible for finalizing all files for print production and subsequently supervising the printing process. Provided design guidance for the relaunch of the magazine’s website (rawi-magazine.com). Created and animated content for Rawi’s 10th anniversary promotional video.

2013-2016 | STYLE.COM/ARABIA | CREATIVE DESIGNER | Dubai, UAE (remote)
Designed and executed all the visual communication for the Middle East’s first Condé Nast fashion and beauty publication, Style.com/Arabia (now VOGUE Arabia). Created slideshows, homepage rotators, advertisements, site graphics and any print elements required. Developed the branding for
Style.com/Arabia – DDFC Fashion Prize’s (now DDFC/Vogue Fashion Prize) inaugural endowment, as well as marketing tools for Lexus, shopstyle.me and me.popsugar.

Led the branding unit, which entailed the global rebranding of the regional café chain Cilantro, as well as supervising a team of junior designers. Design and branding projects covered an array of visual communication, including logos, illustrations, brochures, posters, murals, packaging, brand manuals and presentations for a variety of clients ranging from hospitality brands to publications. What started as a design traineeship turned into a job offer, whereby I was invited to be part of the design team on multiple branding projects as well as pitches, print ads and TVC shoots for multinational giants like Unilever [Axe, Close Up, Lux, Sunslik], Nestlé [Mövenpick, Nestlé Ice cream], Cadbury [Trident, Chiclets].
